Commitment to continuity

A family is lost. For a new found family to be their own, a child needs to know that this family will not be lost. NNSC is, simply, a home.

A child finds a home.

A child has already lived a life even before they get to the children's home: a chapter that does not close easily. These four walls are where a new beginning unfolds, their story continuing, but one whose end they get to write.

Rescued and brought up, a child gets to a home where they find a family. A child who had to grow up ahead of their time due to circumstances they didn't get to choose, at NNSC gets security and a sense of belonging.

A child finds a childhood.

With the basic needs met, a child is finally able to live childhood as intended. With education, entertainment, a family that houses comfort and safety, a child is no longer living the harsh circumstances, and their formative years now become characterized by growth and learning.

A child finds themselves.

A child participates in workshops designed to help them form career choices, lives experiences unique to them in a safe setting willing to take risks, and forms decisions that are best suited to them. A child gets to see themselves beyond the identity of their pasts, and with the possibility that they carry today.

Our Reality

When a child transitions to the society as an adult, they carry discretion and confidence with themselves – a testament of their earned independence.

They walk outside the doors as capable manpower: a door that continues to stay open. After all, a child never really truly leaves the home.

Our Mission

To ensure no child’s future is limited by circumstance: through education, shelter, safety, and health care for children in our home and for families still finding their way out of poverty.

We make sure we meet the child’s fundamental needs first, and then, build an educational foundation on it, curating a real future one day at a time.

Learning & Growth

Whether it is training and homeworks, Ground Diaries, or shared patches of interests, children get room to find out what they are good at, and what they actually want.

Children’s Home

New Nepal Society Center has been working with children since 2007. Our home comprises of children's stories, and with an environment that exudes with children’s excitement and creativity. This nurtures them with meaningful learning, allowing them to explore different things. And when support and encouragement from peers show up in the warmest ways, they become the children they were always meant to be.
