A Contribution That Lasts
Volunteering at NNSC is an opportunity to become part of the children's everyday environment and contribute time, skills, knowledge, and ideas to their learning and activities. Volunteers may support educational activities, creative projects, sports, enrichment programs, or other areas where their experience and interests can be useful.
For the children, interaction with volunteers can bring new perspectives, learning experiences, and opportunities to explore interests beyond their regular routines. Different skills, experiences, and approaches can add variety to the activities and resources available to them.
For volunteers, time at NNSC offers an opportunity to understand the organization, the children's home, and the surrounding community through everyday experience. Living and working alongside the NNSC team and children can provide a more direct understanding of life in Nepal, while creating opportunities to share knowledge, learn from others, and develop meaningful connections.

Volunteer involvement can range from a short visit of a few weeks to a longer stay of several months. The role and activities can vary depending on the volunteer's skills, interests, experience, and the current needs of NNSC.

тАЬWhat stood out to me most about NNSC was how normal daily life felt. Children went to school, completed homework, helped around the house, spent time with friends, and planned for the future. My time here was not about helping from a distanceтАФit was about becoming part of a community and learning from it.тАЭ
